It's another round of gathering, this time we have lesser ppl : {
I guess most of them preferred to go St James for CHIVAS nite out, than go for a gd dinner : }
Ok larh, shall organised that next time.
So, lets see wat we have at Black Angus. I like the steak here and furthermore, I have 10% discount heeeheee.

While waiting for the 2 young & beautiful ladies, we ordered the west wild onion or wild west onion.. yummy.. look at the BIG onion itself is month watering .. it's big and so crispy
wait & wait...nothing to do, started to play with the pepper & salt.. ; D

guess we are too early, the restn was not so crowded. Or the food not so nice??? no no.. hehhee just kidding.. they have a late crowd just like our 2 ladies.. happily go movie.. : D
Finally both of them arrived, and we can start our dinner.. after the BIG onion me & KW decided to share the Rip Eye steak. The portion is big, steak gd gd & the mash potatoes also gd gd : p

go steak house, but din eat steak... ohoh... coz Ms Low not 'beef eater' heehehee.. so she settled with the salmon. The portion is big too, & KW has to help her finished it. here, our Missi Ho medium rare prime rip. Very tender n I like the authentic taste of BEEF, in another word.. the steak is VERY COW! hahaha.. : D
after dinner, we went for 'sight seeing'.. on the way something caught my eyes so i was "WOW! wat's tat " then snap it..& Missi Ho has to embarrass me by saying.. " halo, that thing is here for sometime liao leh.. " hahaha i am becoming more & more 'frog in the well' now

Yeap.. Marina South Pier. Too bad, the place was closed for private function otherwise will have a better view from the top floor.

Farewell Dinner

Farewell dinner for our JP colleagues. Wanted to bring her around for local food, so we decided to go for China town street food. But the weather was not very compromising.. : { been raining since morning, most of the stall at chinatown street was closed. And the chairs & tables were very wet too. At last we settled at a restn.
Yum Cha, not a bad choice & reasonable price too.
so here we go...

we chose the set meals for 4 person, thou we have 6 : } Here goes our 1st dish, the shark fins soup.

then follow by our side dish, Tim Sum : } my fav..

& the steam fish, abit spicy but good ..yummy

n this venison, suppose to be cooked with curry. But it sound weird to me so I changed it to stir fry with spring onion. : }

ofcos must try S'pore chilli crab lah... har... actually I don't fancy crab, so this doesn't made me WOW.. accept the fried bun, good good.

my colleague really enjoyed it, actually this is the dish she ordered. So clever huh, came all the way here to enjoy chilli crab.. : D I still prefer those big crab from Japan.

not forgetting our dessert, jelly "Qui Ling Gao"

My colleagues from Japan, Hirakawa San. It's her 1st time in S'pore, so we have to be tour guide bringing her around S'pore and be nice to her : } Hajimemashite, Dozo Yoroshiku : D

See we bot her to the nearest canteen at CBP, and let her tried the local $1 ice-cream. hehehe under the hot sun, the ice-cream melt like nobody buz.. : D poor us have to standby so many tissue papers. But she is cute, she doesn't mind all these & she enjoys it.

so coincident we have a fire drill practise this week & she got a chance to view how us Singaporean fight the fire : D
hey and the flight landing at the same time.. : p

wah... 'gen huo yeo chio' is it?.. look at the smoke hahahhaa...... it's free that why can spray til you happy happy : D

Zhu Jiao

Empress mood...

Finally, Empress cooking mood is back.
And she also started talking to me, so my 'Koh Fu' is back again hehee.. these few days she started to cook our fav meals, dun know what happened leh.. ever since she came back from her holidays, her mood seems to be like at 'cloud9'.
Anyway...here's 1 of my fav, 'zhu jiao' in dark soya source. I seldom eat 'zhu jiao' at any other places. Only Empress cooking I can't resist. Will eat whatever she cooks then go for exercise to burn those fats away hahaha..yummy !!

Lousy week

It been a lousy week... 1st had some arguement at home with "Empress", then hit some work problems..facing some changes at home & work has made me feel insecured & emotional.. : {
so called up my '911' spare tyre misi Ho .. she really a gd nursing buddy...

We met at Bugis for dinner, found out that the foodcourt has moved to the top floor..gosh how long have I been staying at home huh.. becoming a "frog in the well" soon..

and we also found our fav muslim food - Nasi Ayam Penyet : } which we tot only can find it at changi village..hehee so Misi Ho we can go there more often ,coz more convenient now... : }

After dinner, go shopping shopping "shopping therapy' mah.. spotted a nice bag. Misi Ho is richer so she bot the bigger 1 at S$20+ & I got this smaller one at S$8 hehee.. we love the art on the bag, it's so nice ...

Follow by a drink session with her frenz at 1 of the pub call "Room of Blues" somewhere near Selegie Rd. Ambiences ..so so..but the Guitarist is gd, i love most of the song he played.

Look at our expert playing pools..she was having a hard time teaching me & Misi Ho hahhaa..we had a gd laugh : D

yeah yeah...I pass my exam. Finally got my 2nd cert. for my JP lesson. Now, moving on to my Intermediate 1 hope can do well too, actually looking forward to the JLPT4 exam at end of this year.
Japanese languages is definitely not an easy subject. Must really work hard. 日本語は非常に困難であ, がんばって ください.

A fren gave me the DVD of this drama, [ 1リットルの涙, Ichi Rittoru no Namida, 1 litre of tears] the drama really touched my heart & motivate me to learn JP. The story goes .... A girl name Aya Kito,who was diagnosed with an incurable degenerative disease at 15, but was able to continue her life until her death at the age of 25. Facing the fate of death, yet she nvr gave up. She had encouraged the ppl around her despite her illness. The only movie that moves me to tears so to be able to read & understand more of my fav. JP drama, I have to ganbatte yo.

Thou I have completed the DVD but I still like to read her biography, so my colleagues went to Japan & bought these 3hon/books for me, : D further motivated hor :p
Aya Kito had wrote the diary until the day she can no longer hold the pen .... very sad : { her positive attitude towards uncertain future is very encouraging.

Life is so vulnerable, some ppl want to live longer but they can't. On the contrary some ppl can live longer yet they prefer to end their life.

Wat a co-incident, Dar fall sick at HK n me fall sick too at SNG..
Having pack lunch at office make me more sick : {

Has been 4mths since we moved here, far from city area & far from FOOD : {most of the days we are having packed lunch. Until I feel like vomit when I smell the lunch.gosh... "so fortunate we Singaporean, have food to eat still complaint" hahahaa.. but it's a fact if u have to eat the same thing over n over again, u will feel sickening too.

I am fortunate enough to have a good boss, that gives me a good sit location. Here's the view from my window. Can see planes taking off & landing, so tell me wat flight u are waiting & I will tell you when it's landing hahaha part time Control Tower.

I like the view thou, when i am so stress with work I will turn over & look at the sky then start praying : } hoping that I can see God waiving back at me, or the cloud to appear "BLESSED DAY" : D

Frenz held wedding at Labrador Villa, chinese restn. The ambience is really nice n the couple enagaged 2 guitarist to play & sing. They even go round every table to sing the song anyone dedicated. Very impressive. I like the concept.

ZOO on a hot Sunday morining.
Woke up early to bring the kids to the Zoo. Especially for our little prince Joel, my youngest nephew.

becoz want to accompany him.. all the beauties were squeezed into a 4seater car.
Squeezed like sardine, and legs almost cramp..but yet we enjoyed the journey : }

I have phobia taking care of young children too. They run & shout like 'crazy'..i can't take it, no patience at all. Here, u see this 'ang mo' kid. He's trying to climb over ..gosh... where's the parent???
