My Avocado Delight

Fall in love with this amazing fruit, Avocado. It provide 20 essential nutrients, including fiber, potassium, Vitamin E, B-vitamins and folic acid. It's simply good for overall health.

Being a morning & breakfast person, I love to make my own bkf and this fruits came in my little creation : D Eating avocado by itself, is not very pleasant & taste raw. But by adding abit of this & that the taste was great. It's a great substitute for cheese & butter too.

Avocado Tuna mini Burger, it so easy to prepare. Just get all the ready made ingredient & fill up the burger & it's done. Simple yet delicious : p If u don't like tuna, can replace by bacon, ham, eggs or beef patties. It just goes well with anything.

Cut the Avocado into half & remove the seed. It's very soft so got to be very gentle when scope out & slice it into pieces.

Cut the mini burger into half & spread it with margarine, can actually skip this but I love margarine & cheese haha so .. hmm.. Ok simple task just placed tuna, avocado follow by cheese on top.

 And it's done! My cutie mini Avocado Tuna Burger, you can toast it if u like.

My another fave with Avocado. The Avocado with Peach & Mango yoghurt, healthy bkf to start the day! It might look kinda 'yurky' but it taste so good, the fruits just blend in so well. A simple meal with lota goodness : )

 Scope out the Avocado & mashed it, then add in the yoghurt. It really looks awful.. like ee..baby..ok never mind. Anyway it taste good, and keep my stomach full for the whole morning.

His niece & nephews in Town

Some backlog to update : )

Whew....trying to recall what we had over the past months. His sistas x 2 & kids were in town for the past 2 months, we had a few gathering cum lunch/dinner at a few places. But I only managed to capture few pic. haahaa hmmm it's not so nice to keep snapping ya...that's very rude, oops... I'm just referring to myself. 

At one of the Chinese Restn in Orchard Hotel...If my memory still good : D Some books to keep her busy. She's a super active gal, must kept her occupied at all time. 1st time, I see a little girl so active, buay tahan..

So much different from his jie jie, the little handsome boy. I caught him sucking his fingers & he just smiled & shy away. He's very 'guai', & his smile will melt your heart. Lovable boy, miss hugging him.

At another eatery place, Boon Tong Kee Chicken Rice at Balestier. This little girl loves Chicken rice, so Dar brought us to Balestier. But she claimed that this Chicken rice is not nice, she like the 1 at AMK coffee shop. Hahaha.. so young and she knew what's ready good. I never like BTK Chicken rice too, it so expensive too.

Look wat I did to her! : D In-order to keep her still for at least a few minutes, I placed the wet tissue on her head & told her not to move. Surprised, it works! haha, We finally have a few moment of peace.... 

Another nephew came to SNG 2weeks later. He was so shy initially, guessed he must has forgotten we met before : ) So he stick closely to Dar most of the time, hey I jealous lor hehehee

So Chicken rice again... this time Kampong Chicken rice at Thomson. Much much better than BTK's.

At least this Chicken don't made me feel so sinful : D It's low fat & low cholesterol. The meat is tender, and the rice is less oily.

A farewell dinner before they flew back to UK. Dinner at 食美 Chinese Restn, TeckChye Garden (opp.Paya Lebar Methodist Church). I tot we were going to have steamboat..hmmm hengz... hahaa it's fish head soup. Fresh slice fish serves separately, I love the soup base.

After a few rounds of meet up & playing with him, he's more comfortable with me & let me take a pic of him : ) Smart boy.

Our free desserts, mini ice-cream for all. Promotion in the restn, for every total bill of S$30above will get free desserts.

 Now The house is back to original, quiet down, no more kids running around, no more crying & laughing, and the frequent calls from the kids to get their unke home on time : D Kinda miss them too : ) Will only get to meet them again next year.

Fellowship Dinner

Our once in the blue moon fellowship dinner : D Meeting the ladies at Tenah Merah MRT before EC fetch us to Changi Airport. She told us about this hidden place inside T2, we were all excited & can't wait to find out what's inside.

She parked her car at carpark 2B, not B2 hor. It's 2B!!! and we took the lift up to 3rd Floor. All of us looked lost, except EC, she the only person who ever came to this place & ofcoz she's a regular here.

Lift opened!! HUH!!! Where were we? CHANGI RECREATION CLUB in T2! Are you sure this is a club/cafe? This place looks run down & ..empty. Sure we going to eat here? The food edible? Food nice or not? We started to speculate among ourselves hahaa.. Ok ok we must trust & have confident with our sis EC taste, we have to give it a try since all the way here.

Looking at the menu...hmmm all zhi cha stuff, still not very convince they have nice food. Ok each of us order a different food to share share.

Deep fried Sotong You Tiao, wow it's GOOD, it's GOOD..!!!! Crispy yet not oily. And Deep Fried Chicken wings, very home cooked style, juicy juicy & yummy yummy!

My Special meal, Spicy chicken with rice on Hot plate. Love every piece of the food on the plate : p

Very fulfilling dinner... there's a old saying "dun look down on old raged place, they might serves you the best food" This is very true, we had nice food at minimum price : ) Total bill: S$33 only.

Changi Recreation Club at T2, is open to public.

For Self-drive: Park at Carpark 2B and take lift to level 3 (#03-3M)

For those taking public transport: MRT exit T2 and walk towards Skytrain boarding area. There's a glass door opposite the Skytrain, walk in & the cafe is just right inside.(If not sure just asked the airport staff heehee)

BD celebration for July

It's monthly BD celebrations again : )  I personally don't like to celebrate my birthday in a big group... just don't feel easy with it, but I do enjoying others celebrating their BD : D

With a pinch of Salt cafe at Tanjong Katong Road, opposite the Pungol Nasi Lemak. A very cute & sweet theme cafe. I love the theme, its simply so so cute. Thou the place is abit small & a bit noisy (maybe was us that create all the noise) The place is still very nice for gathering, BD celebration or a small party.

The interior: simple, sweet, cute, relaxing..what else to comment, oh and a lovely friendly lady boss.

Food food food !!! The waiting time was quiet long due to lack of staff & cafe running  full house. The food was ok, dun have the WOW feeling but edible : ) Some of them complaint too small portion, and chicken leg too dry. While others were ok with the food.

Some1 on diet for months & now on the most heavy & meaty meals : D (name not to be disclosed hahaa wait I kena hammer)

This looks nice, maybe will give it a try next time.

And my Grill Dory sambal fish : ) was perfect for me. Soft & fresh fish with spicy sambal. Remember someone ask me "why you always eat sambal?" ok.. I love spicy food ofcoz, and on the safe side I will usual choose sambal to go along coz it will nrv go wrong & can cover any unpleasant taste. Well that's my own theory lah : )

One 15 Marina Club

I love this place at 1st sight. I love marine especially Yacht. It never came across my mind this place is well developed & so lovely. I have been to Raffles Marina, but the feeling here is so much different. The place is big & spacious, and ppl here were so much friendly too. No wonder they got awarded as best Marina Club.

I'm fortunate enough & blessed to have a Big Boss owning this place, yes he own the whole property of this Marina Club. He build this place from sketch, I admire his far sight. 

We were there for 2days seminars, and was honored to be invited to his yacht. I have been on yacht many years back, but this yacht is really impressive. Not only big, but clean & neat. Just too bad that we didn't get a chance to sail out coz my big boss has to rush for another meeting. Looking forward to our next voyage.

The washroom in the club is like a maze.. big, it took us awhile to get use to it.

Was supposed to have our dinner in the Imperial Chinese restn, but the price exceeded our budget. : ( Imperial wor..what you expect: D

Maybe we can consider outdoor BBQ dinner next time. : )

It's so lovely in the evening, just dun feel like going home.

Our special arranged dinner, Ala carte main with buffet appetizer & desserts. We could hardly finished the fish & chips, it's big & fresh. Some of them actually took 1 pc & packed the other pc home : D

Our 2nd day rest & relax on the Yacht after a half day Brain storming seminar.

 

My Brain not only storm but twist & turn too, luckily our final session ended on board this beautiful Yacht. Maybe someday I shld let go of everything & go sailing : ) 

Hye Seas II Captain, nice & friendly guy. But I wonder what will he be doing when not sailing???

We were like kids seeing new toys, all get so excited. : D running around taking turns play captain, host & taking pic.

See you next time Hye Seas II, we'll be back again someday..I hope. My Big Boss might be scared of us now, maybe he regret letting us on board hahahaa...
