Marina Sq

Can't remember when was my last visit to Marina Sq. dropped by last weekend to make full used of my expiring soon gift voucher. This voucher was with me since last yr so its time get something nice for myself right : ) There's nothing much to shop here, wat a boring place : ( So decided to get another pair of Everbest shoes. This going to be my 4th pairs of Everbest shoes, it really Ever best : ) loves their shoes, the quality is good & comfy.

We walked around the Mall for dinner& ended up in the Foodcourt. There's a wide range of varieties & all sort of yummy food inside. Dar had this Kimichi soup, nice but super spicy.And I just had some hot dessert coz already had dinner at home : { Shld have save some space for dinner here.... : ( want to try their Saba fish next time.

We took the outdoor seat and have a nice view of Esplanade & Marina Bay Sands, still under construction thro.The road across was closed due to APEC, saw many ppl crowded around,guess they must be hoping to get a glimpse of President Obama : D

$10 notes

Mum came home with this $10 notes, she showed it to us & we have a good laugh.

Guess it's kinda puppy loves that wrote these. Based on the folded lines the notes must have been folded into a heart shape before. And with the colorful words on it, lol... funny.. "离开你" became "里开你" hahaha... maybe broke off liao or $$ broke so spent it. Told mum to spend it & hope it will go back to the 'owner'.

White Tangerine Cafe

Dinner at White Tangerine Cafe, Kovan. Budd suggested this place after heard some reviews, so we went for a trial.

Ok, it's a re-opened cafe/ bistro inside a Community Centre, this has been an IN thing recently. Since so near our home, so why not pay a visit.

It's a Tuesday nite, so no crowd & kinda quiet too. The big yard outside was empty, and inside only 1 table occupied ...small quiet ambiance. Heard that there will be a live preformance from Local musicians every Friday & Saturday.

Nice & cosy inside, with very dim light & felt 'Tangerined' : p
Beside this big flower wat else to snap......
Oh ..a relaxing babe : D snap snap... My order of 'Tangerine dory fillet' nothing much to rave about, it taste just like ordinary deep fried fish. And I felt a bit over price with this kinda standard.

And Budd has this 'Black Pepper Chicken Steak with Spaghetti's', Budd commended not bad.

A nice & quiet place for catch up but definitely not for food. Btw this cafe is with "No GST & service charge".

My 1st Run

My 1st ever 10k run. Nvr thot that I would signed up for this event, until my colleagues urged me into it. Supposed to have 3of us joining this race, Great Eastern Women's 10k, but due to work commitment 1 of us has to cancel so left the 2 ikan bilis here to con't the fighting spirit : )

Was having knee cap problem weeks before the race, I was kinda worried that I might not be able to make it on that day too. Thanks God, I did it & managed to complete the race in 1hr9m. It's a great achievement to me. I might be able to do better if not due to my knee problem at the last 500m. I actually limping thru the last few 100m & touched the finishing line.

Ofcoz back home with aches & pain at knee & got to secure it with knee guard for the time being. Hope it will recover soon. Not sure whether I will go for any more race, but at this moment I do felt self-satisfaction & I believe it's the endurance & perseverance tat kept me going, I am really glad I made it to the finishing line.

And thks Dar for the treat to Mac Bkf, & willing to scarifies his 'beauty' sleep & fetch me to & fro the race. If not for his encouragement & our weekly run I dun think I ever enjoy running so much.

How many ppl will have a chance to be on a cover page? Here's a creative parents has did it for their precious BB, sugoi ne!!! This will definitely leave BB Tara a great memory when she grows up. Impressed : )

Was curious with this bouquet of flowers, I tot it looks real so popped over for a closer look. Then it looks fake to me, but y fake flowers needs water? Then again hardly see flowers blooming so beautifully here. So real yet so fake hahaaa.. so I decided to snap a pic of this amazing & beautiful flowers.
And among all the bb guest, she was also a limelight to me. Jade Jade,the little pretty bumble bee.. so sweet & adorable. Guess what she will be wearing in her coming 1st yr birthday celebration next mth. Stay tune : p
