Surprise BD celebration

Very thoughtful of Jo & kakis for this gathering to give Dar an early BD celebration. Was supposed to go for picnic at Marina Barrage but last min changed plan, we went for dinner @ Werner's Over instead.

A German restn at Upper East Coast Rd. Dar & I have saw this restn sometime ago & tot of coming here too. Now we have fulfilled our desire for German food hahaa.... Pork Knuckles..saugages...we are coming heeheehee..

Was welcome or rather un-welcome by this bad manner resnt surperviors/manager.. look at his rude pose waiting at the door.. so yaya when I approached him for the carpark lots. His reaction was " No more parking lot. Go to shell public carpark." then when I ask for table of 8 his reply was " Any reservation? No reservation!!! No more seat." & show me his damn sickening face still with his arm crossed. (slap slap slap..) Later when I confirmed that we have made reservation, he just nodded his head & walked away... **( Caught this cute little Jade before entering the restn, I like her Dolly hairstyle. She looks like the Cartoons Dore, with big eyes.

Food was served promptly & thnks God we were not served by that rude man, otherwise I doubt I will enjoy the evening. I like this soup but every time I forget wat it's call...something Gos...anyway it's a mixture of potatoes, beef, carrots and tomatoes.
And this bread..i name it twisted bread, hahaha again I forgotten wat's the actual name. It a bit salty but nice to chew on it.

oh oh... the Pork Knuckles, yummy... I share share with Dar. It too sinful to eat it alone : D

And a platter of Sausages. it's interesting to see this white sausage floating in the water. Can't help thinking of something gross hahaha... but this is a nice yummy sausage, and not as salty compared to the rest.

This cafe closed at 10pm, its kinda early. We shld have walked further down the street to Coffee Club. Anyway, it's a nice gathering & a nice dinner.

Dinner with Tans

Ring Ring... "halo, pick us up at Corris...." : D we were en-tasked to pick the Tan's family up for an adhoc dinner coz Dar just got his car. Okie, we have to agreed since they used to pick us up too, so now it's time to return them a favour hur hur hur ; D

Went to Urban Spoon at Jalan Kayu for dinner. The restn is a bit dim yet cozy ambience, nice place for a drink & chill out.

Appetizer to share share : Chicken wings & some kinda mushroom toast. Very tasty wings, abit too sweet for me. But I like the toast with the mushroom toppings, yummy.

Baby Pork ribs, looks appetizing but the meat very hard....it's over cooked. Disappointing.. The Men seems to enjoy :) 2nd part of the nite..... Durian makan session along Serangoon Rd. The Tan's craving for durians & me no longer a durian lover..felt nausea with the aroma but never mind lorh just compromised lah. Dun feel bad huh Ah Tans.. hehehee I am trying to adapt to the smell too.
Tara 1st time exploring Durian... D24 Durian. Men eating & bb watching.. Someday she will join them too.
