We were at Tiong Bahru area again : ) was around this area the night before for X'mas celebrations & we were back here for our movie, Avatar 3D. The movie tickets were selling like hot cakes, we only managed to get ours at Tiong Bahru Plaza. Luckily the weather was good, Praise the Lord.

Both of us love Bak Kut Teh, we not gonna miss this popular stall Old Tiong Bahru Bak Kut Teh. The Bak Kut Teh & Ti Kah were good, yummy but the price was kinda expensive.. this set cost us S$18 which we could easily get it at S$10 AMK market & with comparable taste.

Cool..hehehe..


The movie was good, very impressive & very fantasy too. Just a little disappointment, the 3D effect doesn't gave me that kinda strong impact. And I don't understand why do those human need to use all those Strong & heavy weapons to fight against those 'blue Alien' with only arrows & spears??? Not very logical but ofcoz the story has a beautiful ending, kinda fairy tales too : )

And my muffins during boxing day : ) it suppose to be a chocolate cake, but the kids at home saw the cups & insisted to have it on the cup so in order to make them happy... ok lah lets bake it in the cup then.

Friday 13th

Friday 13th has been an inauspicious day for some ppl, not for me thou, but it's definitely a"BLACK"day for budd... She was supposed to meet me for dinner tonite but was cancelled,coz she was suspected of appendicitis.. : { so poor thing being admitted to hospital & put under observations.

Ofcoz our dinner was burned, but it's ok there's alway another time right? : } I was kinda worry abt her conditions & think of visiting her right after work. Msg her a few time to check her conditions. (she must be thinking i'm crazy, y keep disturbing her hahahaa) Time was still early so decided to go for movie before I go see her : p (still got mood for movie hor... hahhaaha..wat kinda budd am i )

Went to Bishan GV, coz nearer to Novena if I need to visit her at TTS : p all well planned huh :D

But sitting alone watching movie & eating cheese pasta was not very enjoying ; {

Well, movie not too bad, " Slumdog Millionaire" Oscar's winner. Story abt a young India chap winning the Million rupees & was suspected of cheating before he could finished the last question. Poor guy! got beaten up for being too smart/lucky to answer all the questions... In the movie we get to see the life of ppl in India, living in slum & being mistreated... a touching and very inspirational movie. Must watch!

Cape No.7 海角七號

Finally went for our long waiting 海角七號 CAPE No.7, was highly recommended by David when we were at Alisan, Taiwan. Well, a lot of frenz comment that this movie is bored & not worth watching. Somehow we still go ahead with it since we hardly have time to catch a movie. And was kinda lucky we din give it a miss.

The movie was GOOD, we both love the show, especially the songs in the movie and the song from 中孝介. If you understand Hokkien, then it worth watching. Almost 80% in Hokkien & it's real funny. But only 1 disappointment, I tot Shino will sing too but she didn't : { She has a gd vocal, hope to hear her sing again.

New Bike

Dar finally found me at library... he got his new bike & wanted to bring me around. He knew that I was angry with him, so he offered to buy me dinner & movie (thot that suppose to be a bf job mah ; ( .... ) Actually that's the movie he wanted to watch, talk abt those gangsters in the 90s & ofcoz also reminds him of his 1st bike during his teens : } This is his new Suzuki bike ; p

We bot the movie ticket ' The Day' at 11.40pm.. almost midnight & we still have 4hrs to go... so went for dinner at Bishan food court. Have not been here for quite sometime, it has renovated & more food varieties . He ordered a JP Chicken Omelette's rice.mine is a Unagi Omelette's rice. very delicious, I like it... とても おいしい, とてもすき です
wait & wait... from rain to no rain ... still hrs to go, we shopped around for a while then went to the kopitiam near the bus interchange. This is a popular coffee shop, they have the famous chicken rice stall, and the duck porridge stall.
something catchy... the coffee shop has customised their printing on the tables... cool.. never seen this in any other coffee shop before.

Movie

Saturday nite, what to do so bored? Decided to go for a movie, "Money not enough II". I am not a great fan for local film, especially to Jack Neo's movie.... It will always be the last in my list, but since Dar wanted to watch & it was highly recommended by our PM ..SO ..ok larh give some support huh ; } And this time round is a bit special too, the 1st time someone special joined us for dinner & movie...: }

We went to Suki sushi for dinner before our 10pm show.

here she is Nic : ) she seldom join us for outing coz she doesn't like to go to crowded places. She doesn't like to go too far, she's too lazy to move..hahaha.. Maybe she's in her good mood today so decided to join us. : } n she don't like taking pics, she don't like me writing so much about her so i got to respect her. Teens...so many things she don't like. However, she writes nice blog too but she says that's for teens only so I can't read : {

Okie then I talk about the movie. I was kinda impressed....a loud applaused to Jack Neo, he has indeed did a great job. I din expect it would be so touching... the movie reflects the reality of S'porean's lifestyles & the desire to earn for a better living..and best of all it's not only about $$, it shows us another side of Human Behaviour when we come to making decision, choices & sacrifices.

How much will we sacrifices for the one we love? What would we do when we really have to make a difficult choice? So many question ponder inside me after the show. At times we really have to make difficult choices and sacrifices in order to make everyone happy. Especially when you are a parent, there's so many things you will do to provide for your kids. And yet the love & care are being neglected, how much have we appreciate our parent & our love one?

Do go for this movie if you haven't watch, it's worth watching ; }
