We were at Tiong Bahru area again : ) was around this area the night before for X'mas celebrations & we were back here for our movie, Avatar 3D. The movie tickets were selling like hot cakes, we only managed to get ours at Tiong Bahru Plaza. Luckily the weather was good, Praise the Lord.

Both of us love Bak Kut Teh, we not gonna miss this popular stall Old Tiong Bahru Bak Kut Teh. The Bak Kut Teh & Ti Kah were good, yummy but the price was kinda expensive.. this set cost us S$18 which we could easily get it at S$10 AMK market & with comparable taste.

Cool..hehehe..


The movie was good, very impressive & very fantasy too. Just a little disappointment, the 3D effect doesn't gave me that kinda strong impact. And I don't understand why do those human need to use all those Strong & heavy weapons to fight against those 'blue Alien' with only arrows & spears??? Not very logical but ofcoz the story has a beautiful ending, kinda fairy tales too : )

And my muffins during boxing day : ) it suppose to be a chocolate cake, but the kids at home saw the cups & insisted to have it on the cup so in order to make them happy... ok lah lets bake it in the cup then.

Birthday Cake!

A Surprise from Budd today, a cake delivered from Jack's place. And ofcoz is my fav Cheese Cake : p

I was really caught in SURPRISE coz I have also ordered a similar cake for Nic this coming Sat. I thot I have input a wrong date & address during my online bookings...hahhahaa... and worst part is I haven't confirmed the bookings yet & how come they delivered here...????? nearly called up Jack's place & complaint hahahaha...blurr.. Thanks again to my best Budd, she had been giving me surprises every year! : p

Well, I do enjoyed the bonding we have now. During lunch time, I just mentioned tat I hav to collect cake at TM & all of them volunteer to go with me.. heheee...

Got this nice yummy ice-cream cake from Haagen Daz, & I felt like eating 'GOLD' hahahha..so damn ex lor!!!! cost S$180+ for 2kgs, luckily we have some gift vouchers to cover the cost otherwise my boss will start screaming & I'll be putting my head on the chopping board : D

hahaa the smoke covered the whole cake....hengz we all still breathing & no LS after 6hrs : }

Birthday Celebration

Went to Swensen at United Square for Dar's niece birthday celebration. It's the 1st time I'm at United Square : ] dint know this place has so many kids stuff & restn : D

This little gal so cute, she was wearing an angel dress..: D the dress was brought all the way from UK for her 'big' day : D and she was very excited, running all over the place.

My only choice at Swensen, Crayfish pasta, still down with flu & cough and dun know wat else to eat. Mayb I dun have a gd taste bud that day, this dish is not up to my expectation.

Cute Isla, she will pose when facing the camera and full of expressions. Look at her smile, resemblance of who? hehee..looks like her uncle :D

Cup Cakes

This is the 3rd time she came to me today with a lil cup cake in her hand. This afternoon she came to me with a bowl of desserts, 2nd time a bowl of Tom yam soup then now a cute delifrance cup cake hahaha...(how to slim down like tat..) It was some left over from our training centre. But still very nice of her, coz she saw me busy wit paper work & without disturbing me, she just bring it over quietly. Sweet Angela, thanks so much for being so thotful : }

7th December

7th December a day to remember... a busy, rushing & joyous day. In the afternoon, rush off for my JLPT at NJC, was kinda out of the way but no choice that's the given location. The exam was.... DIFFICULT, Shiken ga muzugashii ne... itsu mo benkyo shisuru, demo ga wasureta..shinpai shita yo : {

Managed to finish off exam & rushed to KK hospital to visit Pegg. She just delivered to a beautiful bb gal. Congrats Pegg & Kenny! I was so famished by then, didn't take any food since morning and almost fainted... : S

After visiting Pegg we rushed off again to collect Viv's cake ... got to the meeting point in time..hengz... Get the cakes & headed home for celebrations.
The cakes was customised from a home baker online blog. It's cup cakes with customised Mickey mouse which was Viv fav.

BD Cakes

Today is Mum's actual BD, tot of getting her a big durian cake from Tampines, she luvee that. But somehow I lost the contact no. of the cake shop so better think of something else. Anyway only a few of us at home so I just drop by any cake shop to get a small 1. Went to Emicakes, they have many varieties of durian cakes, & I found this..that is cute & easy : } She doesn't like to cut cakes anyway (old ppl way of thinking.. ) a single durian cake will be nice: }

I bot 4 different favour, 1 durian, 2 diff kinda chocolate & 1 orea ^^)

1 each for the kids, fair hahaha...no need to cut & can have different varieties : p

on top of that also bot some mini durian puff

Bobby's bb

Time flies, few mths back just heard from him, he's going to be a dad and today his bb already 1mth old. : } Was invited to his bb full mth celebration at his place. Went there around 4pm, 1st time to his house too. His wife as usual still pretty & slim as before ; } lucky him. Didn't take pic at his place & bb coz worry some ppl 'pang dang' so better dun 'act smart' we just 'kuay kuay' seat now & chit chat.

Before we leave the place, the couple gave us this pack of cakes. wow.. nowsaday, packaging is so important. The box got blue ribbon at the side for carrying, so thotful.

& inside the box contains a roll of cakes , kuey, eggs & Mo Chi too ; } And Also a pic & profile of the bb Rayan : }

Rainy Rainy

Raining again....おあめ が ふる been raining for the whole week, I used to love raining day alot but now... maybe getting older I hate raining day : { or maybe it's becoz I am stuck in this new office so it's like becoming so inconvenient when it rains. sad sad..

Anyway, today we had a birthday celebration so at least I can have cakes to make my day hehe.. Usually we will have 1-2 ppl celebrating birthday in the same month, but this time round wow.. we have 7 of them but 1 on mc too bad : p we will have his share of cakes kekeke
