Taiwan

The Journey begin.....

6th Nov, set off to Airport..& touch down at Taipei Int'l Airport at 5.40pm. The weather was fine. But was a bit surprise the sunset before 6pm. We were very tired & hungry after a 4.30hr flight in Jetstar without food & drinks.. & entertainment : {

Finally the bus reached Taipei city after an hr ride, we took the MRT to Ximen where our Hotel located. The transport at Taipei is 'amazing' hahaha.. all road sign in Chinese Traditional, for those non Chinese literate..sorry u r going to find it difficult. The Train is convenient thou, but again very 'messy' with too many signage and arrow pointing here & there.... confused..

After asking around, we finally found our Hotel... :s RainBow Hotel thou is right in the middle of Ximenting but during business hr, all road around that area are closed for shopper. A small hotel, abit of noise but strategic location for those who loves to shop.

Did a quick check in, & it's almost 8pm already. We have to rush for dinner, we were all famished.. Reached Shiling night Market, (the MRT to Shiling night market is at Jiantan... and not Shiling station, so misleading : { we got it mistaken but somehow we learn our lesson & get smarter haha)

Shiling food square, so many so many food... we walked around & found a place to settle for our dinner 1st then hop to another stall for dessert : p after that took some more snack along the way out..hahha so glutton & can't resist the food temptation.

Never ever came across my mind I will eat this stuff... '7 Li Xiang'=chicken backside. But since it's a 'delicacy' of Shiling, I mustn't give it a miss right. ok lah we will go for it.. & wow wow wow...it's fantastic.. MUST TRY its really taste so good. Not only this stuff, I tried the 'smelly beancurd' too, find it ok, not too bad. The smell is not as awful compare to HK's.

Basically, the 1st 2 days journey is abt eating, eating & eating.. The 2day we took a train to Keelung then transfer an hour bus journey to JiuFen, an old town and again eat, eat & eat... ofcoz wit beautiful scenary. We spent the whole afternoon there coz it's so relaxing & with many nice teahouse around that area how can we give it a miss. We found a 'hidden' teahouse, got to walk through a small cave to reach. The scenery there is breath taking & ambiance good & quiet.

it's right inside this cave, the feeling is like walking through the Cu Chi Tunnel in Vietnam hahaha
