BBQ gathering

A farewell BBQ gathering, my dept col.wanted to treat me lunch but I suggested this BBQ instead. I felt more cosy & relaxing this way. We have been lunching together all this while & already my usual lunch Kaki so why treat me lunch again hahaha.. a get together is better isn't it.
Again Unke Lur offered his place for BBQ, so kind of him. A pot-luck BBQ as before. I have to collate & coordinate with all of them. It's a tiring task, so poor thing like organizing my own farewell :( Anyway, I do enjoy the process & stop complaining hehee

3pm...the sky was getting dark. 4pm it started to drizzle...my phone ring " it the BBQ con't?" Yes ofcoz..its just drizzle no problem we can go ahead.

5pm... the rain stopped but sky still very dim & cloudy. I have my food packed & getting ready to set off no matter rain or shine. Message the gals team, ''pls pray for clear sky & no rain" and it works.

6pm, the rain stop & saw some signs of brightness... but the tables & benches were socking wet. The early bird got to help in cleaning & dry the area.

The funny Macau guy, happily washing his veg. And his big brinjal, which ended up he has to bring home coz no knife to cut...hahaha

8pm.... from drizzle to heavy rain.. : ( so sad... we were all BBQing under the umbrella. Unke Lur running here & there to negotiate with the guard for us to use the function room. All of us squeezed under a small shelter waiting for the new place. Some of them have to leave early due to baby & some other reasons. Left with a few of us in the function rooms & who care lets con't our BBQ : D

We had too much food & lots of left over, so these ppl started to eye on this poor brinjal... see wat happened next...

BBQ with lunch kaki

Shld I said this was an impulsed BBQ? hahaha ya we planned it just 2wks ago when some1 voiced during our lunch time. It been a year since our last gathering at Boss's condo, now we're going to leave out all bosses & have our own gathering hehee : )

Booked a pit a East Coast but a day b4 we decided to change venue to Samuel's place due to the unpredicted rain these few days (but no rain on actually day wor .. : S ) Anyway it was not a bad choice, after all we enjoyed the nite.

We did a pot luck kinda BBQ, so each 1 bot an item. At the end of the day, we had more than what we expected.... & Samuel's wife was so kind to make us nice desserts too, impressive pastry : ). Well, A long list to go...where shld I start..mayb fr food & BBQ item of the nite : p

Fried noodles from Mrs Samuel : ) beside this, she also cooked nasi lemak.
Chicken wings fr John, Sweet Corn fr Angela & Sambal fish fr HY. I was there at 6+ and nobody set up the fire yet : S Curiously I asked "nobody hungry meh? nobody want to BBQ is it?" then all responded .... " it's a gas grill no need start so early? " .... **( '' Ya indeed gas grills but ...also need to cook those 'hard to cook' stuff mah" I replied. Somehow my remarks 'Enlighten' them hahahaa... all quickly get up & started to on the gas stove & throw in the food..hahahha...

Prawn fr Belinda too. And me hehehe..ofcoz my fav. Bacon rolls & shiitake mushrooms.

And these were fr Jenny, Wuhan China style lamb satay 羊肉串 Joker John offered to stick the Lamb for the preggy

Half way through...出状况!! something happened.. We ran out of Gas hahaha.... found a spare but nobody knew how to replace it **'' so have to call the guard & waited for awhile before we could con't the BBQ

Followed by our heart warming desserts fr Mrs Samuel.

Mango pudding, cheese cakes & tarts all done by her alone, so envy, how I wish I could have half of her skills : )

Bosses Day cum gathering

It's time for Celebration : } it's Bosses day! Once again I have to organise for the gathering. This time kinda last min so we decided to do BBQ instead. Boss booked his condo's BBQ pit yeah : } so I no need to 'fan' which location is better hehehee... here goes the early birds..

wow we got a nice BBQ pit area, it's at the upper deck & very spacious & pool view heheehe..

so early birds got to work lor... start the preparation work ladies & stop chatting : D

hmm..nice condo..and me..ofcoz got other task to do : D

here come our Engr team ...

they claimed that they are the older version of 'F4' hahaha...

so we have the old "SHE" too...

and then...came my boss..& he joined in & become the "5566" : D

he's very cute & enjoyed himself while his mum ..eat & eat hahaha..

and ofcos our IT experts, Andy & Willy

most of them arrived & started to eat & chat..

we have some cooked food too, this pot of curry was done by our company cleaner. She is good at cooking, especially the Curry Chicken..yummy.. I get her to cook for me & it was really very nice...

n our BBQ stuff..with carbons...risk of getting cancer : D

and Mr Lai started his own BBQ stuff too...

hahaha..Willy was searching for more beers...

& thanks to our two chef, we catered from them & also include the BBQ service. So we dun have to do it ourself.. wahahaha..

oh & our cakes too... I order this Chocolate cake from Royal Cakes, it's ready ready very nice. 2kg for S$82 includes delivery.

here's on the left side, our BD 'boy & girl' together with the Bosses from 4 diff dept.. & we sung BD songs together with a remix/fusion of Happy Bosses Day songs...Anyway i also dun know wat's tat hahaha..just enjoyed the fun & who cares : p
