It's was just a short 3days 2night road trip to our neighboring Country, the feeling was great & really looking forward. We have been talking abt it some time ago, and I almost miss the trip becoz of our lately issue. But thanks GOD, we were together now & ready for a new start. Everything flows in smoothly for us, thank God Hallelujah. We enjoyed the trip, and I appreciated all his effort.
We started off at 5am, hoping to avoid the jam at customs....still jammed anyway kekeke..
Pick up Tan's family at Coris and welcome by a hot latte. Thank you very much : )
A happy bb on board, she was cranky at times but over all she's very well behave and I think she enjoyed the trip too.
Naughty mummy teasing bb with milk milk haha..
A pit stop after Johor's Customs. Can't remember what the place name, Jln Kangsar? Anyway they serves local Chinese Bkf, i.e Wan Tan mee, zhu Cheong Fan, carrot cakes....etc.
But my fave still Zhu Cheong Fan with Leong Tao Fu. I like the QQ feeling of the Zhu Cheong Fan which is different from our.

zzz...suddenly so quiet she fall asleep after our bkf
Then...all down..hahaa..zzzzz...I wanted to catch a short nap too, but just can't get to sleep. It's too hot & I preferred to accompany him while he drives ; )
Weh..why got extra head appeared between us...our 3rd party? hahahaa..
Reached Genting around 1pm, after the slow traffic & jammed along the highway. As usual 1st World Resort super crowded during peak season. We went for our lunch & shopping while waiting for our rooms to be ready.
Starring at a lil girl playing on the laptop : D
Our Lunch at Hou Mei cafe, recommended curry mee.
I'm not a fan of Curry Mee, so better stick to my all time fave Wan Tan Mee.
Mocha...looks cream & sweet
A walked outside the resort..oh this building really run down, I think Genting Group shld consider doing some upgrading or refurbish the place. We were planning to enter the Theme park but after looking at the run down place from outside, we decided to stay indoor for shopping.
Shopping around the mall.
Didn't spend much time in the casino, coz I dun gamble & the place was super crowded & smokey. Check out the next day morning for our next designation, Bukit Tinggi the French Village.
It's abt 45mins drives from Genting to Bukit Tinggi. Some funny things happened on the road that made us laughed all the way up the mountain. It's gonna be a classic story for the 4of us to share. Reached Bukit Tinggi, Colmar Tropicale at noon. A place run by Berjaya Group, a small French village with very nice castle & buildings.

It's really a small small village, we explored & finished the tour within 30mins : p There's another Japanese tea house on the other side of the road, we didn't go in coz we don't wanna waste too much time on another disappointed venue.

Our lunch in 1 of the small & squeeze cafe. I like the Garlic Bread but not the pizzas. It's tasteless & with very little toppings.

And bye to Bukit Tinggi, hello to KL, Selamat Datang! Our shopping spree gonna start soon : D
Stay at Swiss Garden,KL. I like to stay in this Hotel, it's convenient & accessible to Sungei Wang area. Used to stay there with Budd too, & did have some unpleasant encounter. But this time round they have reimbursed & was so much better compared to the past.
A good dinner at Jln Alor after our happy shpg spree, heehee and now I realistic there's a shpg Queen in our group too. She could easily spend a few hundred RM in F.O.S and I think she intended to load up as many stock as possible if she can. : D
My Fave stall, along the street. It's toward the end of Jln Alor. I have been patronizing this stall since long long ago. Their standard never drop & best of all is their friendly & honest service. The other stalls do serve the same food but some were a rude & ready to 'chop carrot' any time.
The lady boss still recognized me & remember what's my fave dish. Bravo : ) She always so cheerful & friendly.
Satay from the Malay stall, it taste so good. The meat so soft & tender.
The BBQ fish, I ordered mid size & it came out to be so big..wow. In fact all the other dishes I ordered small size and it turn up to be so much & we could hardly finished.
The Shi Jiao Dou with sambal. We called it Shi Mian Dou in S'pore. This is my fave veg.
Portuguese style grilled Stingray. Nice hot & spicy gravy.
Oh oh..my all time fave Hor Fan in this stall. The Hor Fan is thinner in size compare to ours in S'pore, and the texture is much better. The QQ feeling is there & the way they fried it, you still get the Wok Hei taste. Thumbs up. Over all we spent abt RM200 for 9 ppl. It's good food & worth the money.
We departed KL the next day and went to JB for groceries & food. Oh I missed out the pic of Pi Pa Ya at JB, I have blog on it some time ago : ) Now we have influenced the Tan's on this Pi Pa Ya hahaha.. they gonna miss this food for sure : p
