Dinner with BD girl

Wah..busy busy weeks past, time to catch up with Ex-colleagues cum frenz. Decided to meet up during CY's BD, it's an unplanned surprise for her actually. Y unplanned surprise? huh huh.. dinner was arranged by Deryl and we were all too busy to communicate, so we din informed CY who & who will be attending the dinner,  she tot was only her & Deryl hahaha.. and upon seeing me & Jiawen she was caught in Surprise!

Raindrops at Scape Park, heard abt it from frenz & read some review. Scape park is a new place for the youth. Felt abit out while walking towards the cafe hahaa. A simple small cafe yet cosy, lay back & relax ambience. With a very straight forward menu, not much variety but the food was good. Staff was friendly too.

This is super good... Chunky mushroom soup. Concentrated thick soup, I love it , thumb up up!

 Seafood Pasta & Vongole...both look the same to me haha..

 And a Hawaiian pizza for all of us. I love the thin crust, & the toppings was generous too.

 BD girl, Grilled Salmon. It's too dry, abit over cooked, so not recommended.

Ofcoz not forgetting her BD cake. Jiawen bot from Bakerzin along the way to Scape, actually Raindrops do have nice cake but we preferred to have a whole cake than a single slice. 

Made a wish!! Grow Taller..bigger...prettier..hahaha standard wishes for the petite : D

One 15 Marina Club

I love this place at 1st sight. I love marine especially Yacht. It never came across my mind this place is well developed & so lovely. I have been to Raffles Marina, but the feeling here is so much different. The place is big & spacious, and ppl here were so much friendly too. No wonder they got awarded as best Marina Club.

I'm fortunate enough & blessed to have a Big Boss owning this place, yes he own the whole property of this Marina Club. He build this place from sketch, I admire his far sight. 

We were there for 2days seminars, and was honored to be invited to his yacht. I have been on yacht many years back, but this yacht is really impressive. Not only big, but clean & neat. Just too bad that we didn't get a chance to sail out coz my big boss has to rush for another meeting. Looking forward to our next voyage.

The washroom in the club is like a maze.. big, it took us awhile to get use to it.

Was supposed to have our dinner in the Imperial Chinese restn, but the price exceeded our budget. : ( Imperial wor..what you expect: D

Maybe we can consider outdoor BBQ dinner next time. : )

It's so lovely in the evening, just dun feel like going home.

Our special arranged dinner, Ala carte main with buffet appetizer & desserts. We could hardly finished the fish & chips, it's big & fresh. Some of them actually took 1 pc & packed the other pc home : D

Our 2nd day rest & relax on the Yacht after a half day Brain storming seminar.

 

My Brain not only storm but twist & turn too, luckily our final session ended on board this beautiful Yacht. Maybe someday I shld let go of everything & go sailing : ) 

Hye Seas II Captain, nice & friendly guy. But I wonder what will he be doing when not sailing???

We were like kids seeing new toys, all get so excited. : D running around taking turns play captain, host & taking pic.

See you next time Hye Seas II, we'll be back again someday..I hope. My Big Boss might be scared of us now, maybe he regret letting us on board hahahaa...

Lunchie with Colleagues

Lunch with Colleagues at Aston's Specialities outlet, Suntec City. I have tried Aston at coffeeshop and this is the 1st time I step into their Specialities Restn. The price was reasonable & the food was definitely much better compare to the coffeeshop outlets.

Fish was my priority now. I have tried their Chicken & Steak at other outlets, not fantastic at all so gonna gave it a miss this time. The fish was a good choice, it's fresh and nicely grilled. I love the bake potatoes too, they were generous with the butter (so sinful) =D
We chose any two hot/cold side-dish to go along with the main. For S$6+/meal, in an air conditioned & nice ambient, it's worth eating isn't it. : )

1 of my colleagues had the Black Pepper Chicken with mashed potatoes & sweet corn. The corn catches our attention. It's a whole corn, not just half or quarter, hah..this is really worth of $$ Another Lunch out with Colleagues in a separate occasions at Keisuke, Parco Millienium. A nice Ramen restn, specialised in Prawn Ramen ake Ebi Ramen. When 1st step in the restn, the 1st impressions was.."am I in a prawn mee stall?" :D The Ebi aroma was so strong. If you a prawn lover, you will definitely love this place. With a classy & quite ambient, it does look expensive but it's not. In fact the price was reasonable & the ramen was really good.
The cute semi-circle bowls that serves our ramen. We reckoned it can hold so much ramen becoz the bowl is deep. It does hold alot of ramen inside & we could hardly finished them. I like the prawny taste but my colleague commented it a bit too salty.

The Gyoza in different style, it came in a long whole piece instead of individual usual Gyoza style. Thin & crispy outside, fresh prawns & meat inside. I love this Gyoza.

I have 2x free Tamago vouchers (with every meal purchase) to give away, expired end of July'10. Any1 interested please let me know. Or can also jio me out for dinner at this restn =D

BBQ gathering

A farewell BBQ gathering, my dept col.wanted to treat me lunch but I suggested this BBQ instead. I felt more cosy & relaxing this way. We have been lunching together all this while & already my usual lunch Kaki so why treat me lunch again hahaha.. a get together is better isn't it.
Again Unke Lur offered his place for BBQ, so kind of him. A pot-luck BBQ as before. I have to collate & coordinate with all of them. It's a tiring task, so poor thing like organizing my own farewell :( Anyway, I do enjoy the process & stop complaining hehee

3pm...the sky was getting dark. 4pm it started to drizzle...my phone ring " it the BBQ con't?" Yes ofcoz..its just drizzle no problem we can go ahead.

5pm... the rain stopped but sky still very dim & cloudy. I have my food packed & getting ready to set off no matter rain or shine. Message the gals team, ''pls pray for clear sky & no rain" and it works.

6pm, the rain stop & saw some signs of brightness... but the tables & benches were socking wet. The early bird got to help in cleaning & dry the area.

The funny Macau guy, happily washing his veg. And his big brinjal, which ended up he has to bring home coz no knife to cut...hahaha

8pm.... from drizzle to heavy rain.. : ( so sad... we were all BBQing under the umbrella. Unke Lur running here & there to negotiate with the guard for us to use the function room. All of us squeezed under a small shelter waiting for the new place. Some of them have to leave early due to baby & some other reasons. Left with a few of us in the function rooms & who care lets con't our BBQ : D

We had too much food & lots of left over, so these ppl started to eye on this poor brinjal... see wat happened next...
