Ad hoc met up with Frenz for dinner, a new place that we have been talking abt some time ago. Heard it was open by the ex-chef of Aston, so we gonna give it try.

MOS (Ministry of Streak) at Serangoon Garden, actually the restn is just right next to the coffeeshop where Aston is located, so who scared who 谁怕谁 : D

The restn looks outstanding from the outside, but inside it's just a very simple & ordinary cafe. The price is comparable to Aston, no GST & service charge too and CASH term only.

Mushroom soup, thick & creamy I love it. S$3.90 that c/w free drinks. Chicken combo @ S$15, the sausages was GOOD. Prime Sirloin Steak, at S$12.90 Chef recommended Char Grilled Chicken@ S$6.90 Tender & soft chicken, was good too. Black Pepper Steak @ S$12.90, nothing special, beef lorh : D Seems like all the sauces look & taste alike.

Food is much better compare to Aston, but I still prefer those at Western Chow : ) Will I still come back? hmm... probably.

Flyer again

A busy week ahead.... went Flyer again with relatives from Malaysia. This was my 2nd time, but the feeling was much different from the 1st time. At least I'm not afraid of this 'high flyer' anymore. And now my turn to laugh at those 1st timer heeheehee (so evil).

Managed to get a glimpse of the Dining cabin, wow so exclusive...
Came after the rain stopped, but the sky still very cloudy.
Marina Bay Sand will be ready by end April... a pity that I will not get to view the soft launch since leaving current company soon. Hah hope in future company I will have a chance to work closely with all IR resort : )

Dinner at Seafood Paradise, S'pore Flyer. Great food & great price tooo... the quality of food was ready good, the quantity control was equally good too : D Although same outlet as Seafood Paradise at Defu lane, but this is more 'atas' high class restn.

We have 9pax, and they really served 9pcs of almost everything accept veg & tofu... hmm dun expect them to count the veg/tofu right : D the food was really excellent, crab was good too. In fact, the crab is inexpensive, cost S$4 per 100g. We had a mid size that cost S$56, cooked in their signature Creamy source was good with the 9pcs of mantao that was not enough too...I dun even get a chance to snap & it's gone. It worth a try, oh maybe shld try the outlet at Defu lane for a better price instead : )

The Canopy

CNY gathering 1 after another, a busy yet fruitful year. This time round we going to The Canopy at Bishan Park II. A nearest place to our home yet a difficult place to locate. Multiply smses kept coming in to ask where the exact location..'diao' I thot I already forwarded a map... hmm mayb the saying is right "man dun like to look into map, and lady dun know how to read a map" : D However, it's a blessing everyone managed to find the place & come on time.


1st thing to do..ofcoz snap & explore the place quickly. The Road leading to the Restn looks shabby..hope everything gonna be ok.

Nice cosy ambience , both internal & external. I actually would preferred to sit outside, but too bad they dun have a large table for us & the light outside gonna be very dim, might not see what we'r eating.

The 'old couple' "} the twin sista ; p Good food must accompany with good wine, went inside their wine cellar to search for 1.

And settle with this bottle of France wine, 2003 Chateau that cost S$96. Well, it's a treat from Unke Keith & Ken-not, so why not :D Recommended Pork rack, tender & juicy meat, goes with the sauce wow.. yummy..

Grilled Dory fish for Ms Low, pathetic small portion but taste good, thumbs up too.

Tiramisu, wonderful but would be haven if they add alittle more alcohol New York Cheese cake, very smooth & not too sweet. I like it.

The Red Dates Pudding with ice-cream, only the ice-cream is edible. The pudding is super super sweet & got kinda weird taste. Thot was highly recommended in some food review, but actually it's the opposite..

Ken generously offered his cheese cake, but Ms Low seems to ignore coz she's happily enjoyed her haven tiramisu :D

The twin, sudden silent....coz they happily enjoying their mango cheese cakes too. Glad that we din bore the kids out.

This yr Unke Keith no more double As & 777 liao hahaa.. work hard Unke Keith, dun go casino this yr, the luck is not at your side. Actually who is the big winner that night? All Kia kia quietly keep the $$ huh....

Unke Ken-not so sad until no eye see..he also a big loser :D
