Gathering cum Celebration

It's not just an usual gathering, today we had secretly planned a surprise for Missy Ho : p ya her Birthday is just round the corner so we have decided to celebrate earlier for her. kekekeke.

My 1st mission today...went to TM to get her a bouquet of flower, hope she will like it.

Thanks Angela for accompanying me to TM to get this gift, she's very cute.. help me 'protect' the bear bear & bouquet throughout the journey : D

2nd mission, go Marche meet the rest for dinner and pretend as usual gathering kekekeke..

It's a Friday nite so ofcoz it's gonna be very crowded. No reservation was allowed so I have get budd & Fifi to go 'chop' place earlier..who knows hahahaa...very pie say..we got some sort of mis-com and they both ended up joining the long Q at the same time. See their 'buay kam wan' face ...
After a long Q finally got a place for us, ofcoz must pampered ourself with nice & hearty meal. I luv the sausages & root beer so nvr a miss for me : } Salmon Rosti, Pork Garlic Sausage with baked Potatoes & Asparagus's Soup Pizza, Fried Calamari & mushrooms And couple pic ..Fifi & hubby, Jeff.

Have been calling Marche a few times to prepare this cake, special thanks to the bakery corner, they are very helpful and even help me to present the cake to Budd. ; }

Today I received an email from a frenz, thot this was just another kinda chain mail... but when I finished reading & watched the video...WOW .. I was touched by the awesome story in this advertisment.

片子雖然是潘婷的公益廣告,但與宣傳的商業主體已無多大關係了,全片揭示的是一個勵志主題:在困境中仍然能保持積極樂觀的人,才是一個真正的強者~~ 可是這個廣告折射人生

JLPT4 試験に合格した

Yeah yeah!!! Finally go collect my cert on last Friday, JLPT4 試験に合格した!
Hoping to get a JLPT2 by next year, must work real hard for it ; p

After the collection at JCS, walked over to Bugis for celebrations. Ya, alone again .. ; { took this pasta at the food court, look nice hah.. BUT...not nice lorh.. the pasta not very well cooked so is kinda hard and very oily..hmm.. miss Dar cooking

BOREDOM

Another boring week... been spending most weekend alone & it's making me dull & bored. Seems like it getting harder & harder to get use to loneliness, especially when age is catching up. hahaahaha as thou I very old liao.. : } Maybe I dun really have many close frenz that y when come to loneliness I really dun know how to cope. Or rather I have become too lazy to go out of the house, and use to looking at four walls, or already become a couch potatoes.. or prefer to hide myself in room listening to my fav Andrea Bocelli's songs. Going crazy soon... it this a sign of depression?

Today received a song from a frenz, it does brighten up my day alittle. A popular Christian
's song, very nice. Hope u like it too : }

Lunch with Vivi

Woke up early on Sat morning with body aching & slight fever.. but has promised Vivi to accompany her to her piano exam at Captiol Centre, in order not to disappoint her I quickly push myself out of the bed & took a panadol hope I will feel better later : {

Thot of visiting Budd at Hospital too then go IT show at Suntec, but my body dun seems to obey : { so this weekend gonna stay home & rest liao...

After Vi's exam, we walked over to Raffles City for a quick lunch. Decided to try Shokudo, wow this time round we were lucky no crowd at all. The last time I came here with Dar, was super long queue & we gave up queueing.

Read a few reviews on this place, most of it were negative remarks but this place seem ok to me leh... : ) tried some of the food & was good, the ambiance was good too, only the food varieties not as much as Marche.

Vi's fav 'Sotong' I told her not to eat too much, wait become 'blurr like sotong' hahaha : D

Vi's Hambury Omu Rice, she loves it too. See she enjoyed it so much.

Friday 13th

Friday 13th has been an inauspicious day for some ppl, not for me thou, but it's definitely a"BLACK"day for budd... She was supposed to meet me for dinner tonite but was cancelled,coz she was suspected of appendicitis.. : { so poor thing being admitted to hospital & put under observations.

Ofcoz our dinner was burned, but it's ok there's alway another time right? : } I was kinda worry abt her conditions & think of visiting her right after work. Msg her a few time to check her conditions. (she must be thinking i'm crazy, y keep disturbing her hahahaa) Time was still early so decided to go for movie before I go see her : p (still got mood for movie hor... hahhaaha..wat kinda budd am i )

Went to Bishan GV, coz nearer to Novena if I need to visit her at TTS : p all well planned huh :D

But sitting alone watching movie & eating cheese pasta was not very enjoying ; {

Well, movie not too bad, " Slumdog Millionaire" Oscar's winner. Story abt a young India chap winning the Million rupees & was suspected of cheating before he could finished the last question. Poor guy! got beaten up for being too smart/lucky to answer all the questions... In the movie we get to see the life of ppl in India, living in slum & being mistreated... a touching and very inspirational movie. Must watch!

Tara

Visited BB Tara on Sunday with Budd. Tara has grown so much, chubby & huggy ..heehhee ..I would feel her weight wow...and tired after carrying her for a while : D

Bot her a Barney so that she has more 'frenz' to play with.The Barney was supposed to sing it's famous song " I love u, u love me...." but kena squeezed by her Daddy... oops.. the song was gone. But this morning received a msg saying the Barney could sing again after her daddy 'anyhow squeeze' : D

BB Tara was crying when we just arrived, guess she has started to recognise ppl/smell/voices..Me & budd have to hide ourselves & shut our mouth for awhile. But after her milk milk she is back to normal : D started to smile & willing to let us carry her.. hew..

Hotel Visit - Swissotel Merchant Court

Make a trip down to this well known Hotel at Clark Quay. Strategically located and with luxury appears, ideals for Business Travellers.
Swissotel Merchant Court has leave us a good impression, except.... guess the sales personal must be on a rush that day, so we were like rushing through every rooms and din really remember which room is which ..sigh... the only room that catches me is the Bridal Suite also known as Emerald Suite, so for those who planned to hold a wedding can consider this Hotel ; }

Very spacious and with Peranakan furnishing, I personally like Peranakan culture so ofcoz will like this Suite :p

Another room that captures me, the Studio room. It's like an apartment with balcony & a small kitchen.

The Market Cafe that famous with their Durian paste and International Buffet. We had our lunch there but after few rounds of buffet in a week...I already 'sick' of it & dun really enjoyed the food there.
