No idea what to eat on a Sat nite. I suggested Waraku coz I wanted to make full used of the expiring voucher but he's not in a mood to take JP cuisine. Then how abt curry fish head? No no again.. then we kept silent for awhile. He kept riding & riding ... towards Bugis then I asked whether we going to stop there? He din reply & still riding.. I have no clue of where's he heading to.

Then he stopped at these 'Ali baba' place Arab st, he smiled & said 'how abt Turkish or Egyptian?' hahaha... some frenz told me he's fussy with food. But I dun think so, coz any where we went he would eat what's in stall, he nvr complaint. He just being more selective & adventurous when he's in a mood to explore new stuff. I think I am much much more fussy then him.
We went a few round to find a cozy place, & this restn catches our eyes/stomach : )
The Pyramid Restn, serving Egyptian food. Very simple & decent restn, with very friendly staff. Arabic songs as background wat else to complaint, felt like we in Egypt at that moment. We took a seat downstairs coz upstairs already full with Shisha smokers : )
The menu is really simple too, but still looks kinda alien to me. So he decided on the orders, a mix kebah for 2, Arabic salad and a Hummus (dun ask me how to pronounce hahaha) it's something made of peas & eggs, trust his taste coz he been to Egypt before.
The mix Kebah, c/w chicken+Lambs+Beef+Beef Patties & salad, rice/bread @S$25/= for 2. No complaint on these, reasonable price & it really taste nice, especially the lambs & beef patties.
I dun really appreciate the Hummus, it tasted kinda weird to me ....... but can tell he misses this. : p Hummus @ S$6/= c/w Bread.
The rice is different from what we usually eat in S'pore, it's slim & long but too dry for me. Dun really like it.
And this cute little boy seating next to our table, kept running to & fro to us & smiling at us. Maybe he's wondering wat this crazy Aunty&Unke doing here : D
Well, over all I would give a 3/5 but it's definitely a very nice experience. Would like to try the Turkish food next time. : )
