Coffee time

A lazy Sunday afternoon beside taking a beauty sleep there's another best way to spent the afternoon, is to have a nice cup of coffee.

After a frenz bb shower, we drove all the way to Bt Timah for coffee. A building that restored from an old British colonial bungalow, The Guild House inside NUS. Nice, cosy & quiet place and Singapore Botanic Garden is just right behind us.

It's really so quiet, almost empty when we walked in. Love the lay back & tranquil atmosphere : ) but beware of falling leaves & small branches.. ouch... some drop on me & it's quite painful haha

Took a walk around the cafe, snapping ofcoz : ) Went up the 2nd storey to take a good look while the guys enjoyed their chats. There's a Jackpot room & a Restn here. Private dining is available, look out for their dress code sign.

A wrong order of coffee with alcohol, nobody owns it... so I hav it : ) oooh..it's tasted weird & awful. No wonder gave it to us for free : p

Still prefer my hot latte : )

Coffee at El Cafe

Nite still young, we can't call it a day yet unless we go for a drink. No mood for alcoholic stuff so we settled ourself at this cafe along the way out of Sembawang Park. A very quiet & 'guestless' place...but the Manager is kinda friendly and the ambiance is good. Best of all the place is furnished with Retros stuff & they roast & sell their own brand of coffee beans too...very impressive : } El cafe, I like the name too = }

There's a restn next to it, can't remember wat's the name but I been there b4 few yrs back. Still the same, good business : )
& we found a Retro stuff with a ...Wat ! "Drug Addict"??? guess wat is she doing??hahahahahahaa...
nah...it's a Retro Coke vending machine outside the cafe... hahaha as usual she's taking some UN-usual pic, and finding the right angle to capture the best shot.
and the guys modelling around the machine..... act cold..: D
& the gals.. pretty leh.. Who is the 1 that make me stand at the side..gosh i m so damn fat :..{ been eating heavy for the past weeks..must put a stop to my growing now.

since got Retro stuff outside, so... 'ding ding'.. sure got more inside the cafe right! here we go "cheong'' huh.. let see what our harvest : } some nice retro poster near the coffee maker.
I saw this item, but actually dun kn wat it is. Can some1 tell me, wat is this? Or maybe just some kinda nice deco.
the coffee beans grinder,I am familiar with this hehee..used to work part time at Suzuki Coffee during my teens : p
& ofcoz the coffee beans, these are the raw beans before roast.

Dar missed his Italiano coffee, now he got a chance to order 1 at this cafe. The Manager came over to chat with us & also explain how to make this coffee macchiato..gosh..wat a name so difficult to pronounce : s
